Death is the Start Chapter 18
Three days have passed since Sarah and Melissa returned from Starpoint and since then Melissa hasn’t left the morgue. She didn’t eat she didn’t sleep she just wasted away staring at her brother’s body on that table hoping for any sign that he was alive. She didn’t care how impossible it was she wanted to believe that he’d wake up. As time passed she became weaker and weaker but no matter what she wouldn’t leave. Unfortunately, the fatigue and hunger became too much to bear and rather slowly she started to fall out of the chair. Her face was inches away from the ground but it never reached thanks to a hand clutching her by the shirt. “H-he’s not gon-n-na wa-ake up.” Elsewhere Sarah laid awake in her bed she couldn’t fall asleep no matter how hard she tried; her mind was restless with thoughts of everything that happened at Starpoint. Sarah looked at her clock and saw it was almost 2 in the morning. Sarah gave up and got out of bed hoping a walk might clear her head. She

Where Fairies Dwell Part 3
A group of mysterious figures sat at a table discussing an important matter. An old looking figure begins speaking, “This is the first time ever seeing a fairy like this. Who knows what kind of powers it has? I say you hand him over to me and I’ll figure out all it’s secrets.” A feminine figure retorts, “Oh please if we let you have him, he’ll never see the outside of a test tube. Besides, we have the boy to think about too.” Another figure who appears to be of a higher standing than both asks, “What did you have in mind doctor.” The doctor replied, “I propose that we throw them into the pit.” Another figure this one having a stronger more muscular built replies in anger, “I object to this it’s a little early for them to go through the pit.” To this the doctor replied, “Oh come now if our intent is to learn what this fairy can do what better way than a trial by fire.” The figure of higher standing thought about it for a moment then replied, “She has a point its possible they could be

Where Fairies Dwell Part 2:
“I’ve never seen a black fairy before and your saying the mana trail was black so that’s why you couldn’t see initially.”, Ren’s dad said. Ren responded, “Yeah that’s right after I added more light, I was able to see the trail as clear as day.”. “Interesting perhaps we’ll learn more after the magic alignment test.”, Ren’s dad said. Noir curiously responded, “The magic what test?” Ren then explained how the magic alignment test is a method in which young mages discover what type of magic their fairy can use. In the process the fairy and partner step into a pool of enchanted water together and the color the water turns determines what type of magic that fairy can use. There are 6 different types of magic a fairy can use. If the water turns blue that means the fairy can use ritual magic in which a fairy’s magic is used in a process to create magic items, potions, summoning and many other things. Green means nature magic in which through a fairy magic their partner can channel the nature

Barrel Cove (Passway): Iridan and Melany
The sound of water dripping down from a high ceiling on clayey ground filled a long winding passway, deep under the grounds of Chordoni. The slightly grubby, yet highly mineral enriched, water condensed everywhere along the aisle due to all the steam filling the area. The sight was excessively foggy, albeit one could still follow the way without bumping into someone or something.
“Uhhhh… so uncanny to walk through this giant duct – especially when there is a chance to encounter one of those menacing monstrosities” a human female sighted moderately on edge. Usually, the staff be
Von Rached was bored. That was a rather difficult feat to accomplish, really; his curiosity was boundless, often to his patients’ detriment. However, the novelty of America had worn off, and he'd all but exhausted this facility's supply of interesting cases. Though he had a large measure of autonomy here, his freedom was not as absolute as it had been in Germany: he had, for now, to make sure his test subjects stayed alive. His position remained too new for him to utterly disregard his superiors, unless he wished to suborn the mind of every single one of them, which would be a waste of his time and energy. The dawn was clear and grey when he left his apartment, the air crystal-pure and cool. He hadn't slept last night, despite the rather heroic dose of morphine he'd taken, but the drug did temporarily soothe his restiveness. It meant he could appreciate the light breeze, the mingled scent of dewy grass and damp asphalt as he strode down the sidewalk. This early there were few cars
